I surpose I should just aim to do it weekly? Or when somthin interesting has happened, that would be more exciting.

Folowing the flood at work the only other exciting thing to happen was me trying to book a hotel in DC for our trip at half term.  I found the hotel we wanted via expedia, made my bookings but felt duped that only after paying was it reviled that their was no breakfast included. i had to have a running debate with expedia to get a refund and managed to do so.  I think I have found a new note that is cheaper and includes a meal, we wound be staying in the same place as wendy but will be saving £500.

Hair cut on Friday

Yesterday went to Chiquito’s for the one who does not blogs birthday, we got dropped off at lunch time and drank a number of cocktails, a great time was had by all. Spent Saturday night watching TV and drinking Gin! I\ve finished my bottle of Hendrics though so not sure if to replace it or if to try something else.  I will probably try something else.

Today went for lunch at Ma and Pa Fendek’s, had an Italian feast.  Tonight Pub quiz.

I love summer camp, their album is brilliant, it’s a grower and the more I hear it the more I love it. I haven’t had an album like that for a while. It’s funny to recognise how I react to an album and to have the opportunity to saviour my feelings, as one would a fine wine or real ale.

A good day at work, got lots done, had meetings, arranged meetings. Even got projectors fixed.

So this blog, I have been failing to keep it unto date, I need to work harder at that. I will do my best.

I think I’ve lost my cool . . .

Working in IT isn’t cool, perhaps I feel a little down with January and dark days, but I feel, I don’t know, I feel like I’m missing something, some times I worry that I’m not enjoying life, then I realise that I’m happy and have a good time and do enjoy my self and have such fantastic opportunities and take them and act upon them? What else do I  want? I don’t know.  I worry. I want not to worry. I worry about my IBS getting worse, is it? I tend to panic about it which makes it worse.  TBH though I think I had a bad week last week culminating in a stomach upset.  How much of my symptoms were the illness presenting as IBS but being controlled by me? I don’t know nor never will, I just need to get on with it and not worry really.

Anyway enough with the negative, tomorrow is Wednesday.

Did the shopping, came home found a new source for tshirts do got three plus one free. Did some washing the drank gin and ate curry infront of the tv. Life is good!

Spent the evening at sian an Jamie’s we swapped Christmas gifts, had pills and had a really good time! Drive home at midnight, I love the Volvo

Had a meeting with Wendy about the DC visit, very exciting and very useful.

My IBS reared its ugly head

Today has been good, I have got lost done, and things I wouldn’t normally do.  I have investigated the catering accounts, played with the spread sheet and produced a nice solid document that we can now build on.  I have put a decent procedure in place that solves the problem faced yesterday.

None of this is too exciting really : (

Cooked the second of the Quarn meals tonight, a curry, again disappointing, back to meat for me!
